“The Swiss contract manufacturer SwissFactory.Group has introduced new structures and, in particular, greatly modernized the sheet metal processing division of its subsidiary Stoppani Metal Systems. Now the implementation of a “Dual Factory” is desired, where people work during the day and the machines work at night. This digital factory is to produce fully automatically and autonomously — in order to guarantee Stoppani international competitiveness. Bystronic was the only supplier able to meet the requirements.”
