Investors & Entrepreneurs
Which investors does SwissFactory.Group address?
The SwissFactory.Group is also open to new investors. This is because a strong equity base is important to the SwissFactory.Group, particularly in view of the establishment of “Factory Switzerland” and the associated integration of other companies.
The SwissFactory.Group therefore addresses investors who are interested in a longer-term commitment and give appropriate weighting to values such as sustainability and social responsibility in their decision-making. Strengthening Switzerland as a workplace is a matter of concern to them. Operational involvement is conceivable with a suitable profile.
Interaction with all participants should be characterized by openness, trustworthiness and mutual respect.
What entrepreneurs speaks
By bringing together innovative SMEs with complementary technologies in the fields of metal, electronics and plastics, the SwissFactory.Group aims to create a new market offering throughout Switzerland. The SwissFactory.Group is therefore specifically looking for SMEs that can complement the Group’s technology portfolio.
Joining the SwissFactory.Group also offers each new company potential in terms of sales & marketing, know-how transfer, process optimisation, cost reduction and handling of complex projects. In addition, the attractiveness as an employer is strengthened and thus a significant advantage is achieved in the “fight for talent”, which is important for Switzerland.
The former owners of the 7 SwissFactory.Group companies are now all shareholders in SwissFactory.Group AG, the holding company. This is because the SwissFactory.Group attaches great importance to retaining the know-how and network of successful SME entrepreneurs within the Group. Therefore, the owners of an SME company are expected to participate in SwissFactory.Group with at least 50% of the agreed purchase price — with the possibility to also participate in the board of directors. Depending on the circumstances, joining the SwissFactory.Group can therefore also represent an optimal succession plan.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of SwissFactory.Group, Mr Hans Gattlen, will be pleased to answer any questions you may have or if you are specifically interested:
